Merry Christmas to All!

I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas and are as blessed as I am to spend it with the people you love.

Thank you to all of the clients who have supported me this year, I've truly enjoyed meeting each of you and photographing your families. I'm taking some time off to enjoy the holidays, but will start booking sessions again in January. I've got a few surprises coming, so be sure to check back. =)

A Gorgeous Couple and Some Cool Locations

This past weekend I had a chance to do a session with two gorgeous teens, out by the Flint River. Despite the cold and the wind, these two were such great sports! I had so much fun photographing them. We had some fabulous locations, too ... by the river, in the woods, and by a neighbor's rustic old barn (my favorite!).

Here's your sneak peek, Leslie & Percy. Normally I try to stick to just a few, but it was too difficult to narrow it down! I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for letting me capture a bit of your romance. =) I'll have the rest of your photos ready to look at soon after the Christmas holidays.

Sweet, Sweet Gavin - Part 2

Here are a couple from the second part of my session with sweet Gavin. He was a week older and much more alert this time around! Look at those gorgeous eyes. =)

Sweet, Sweet Gavin - Part 1

Recently I had the chance to photograph another sweet little newborn. Gavin was so easy-going and content the whole time. Given a lack of light, we decided to break the session up into to parts. Here are a couple from part one for Paul and Melissa to enjoy. :)

Look at That ... Photos of my Own Kids!

I know, I know ... I'm sadly neglecting my blog lately. And I don't have much time lately to photography my own kiddos. But today I did a mini-session with Sarah, and another mini-session with both girls. I haven't had a chance to do much editing (gotta finish up the client work!), but here are a few. See, Chad, photos of one of your nieces. :)

Little Miss Ava Didn't Like Me Very Much =)

Yesterday, cute little Miss Ava came over to our neighborhood pond for her photo session. The light was beautiful and the fall colors looked so good with her gorgeous red hair and creamy complexion. Alas, none of my usual tricks worked, Miss Ava just did not want to play with me. =) Good thing she's so cute, she looks good anyway!

Enjoy your sneak peek, Rhonda! =)

Despite everything, I still manged to get this ...

And this ...

And this sweet moment ...

And a whole lotta this!

What a Fun Family!

On Sunday afternoon I got to hang out with another fun family! These two little munchkins were such fun and cute as buttons. Merritt enjoyed giving me her sassy little looks and Jamie loved running from my camera. :)

Here's your sneak peek, Janell! I hope you like what you see. :)

Happy Halloween!

I've been accused of not keeping up with my blog lately, particularly when it comes to my own two girls. It's true!! I've got loads of stuff to edit, from our trip to Chattanooga during Fall Break, to some jumping shots of Sarah, to some Halloween party stuff from the weekend. These are from this evening, just before we went to a Halloween event at a local church for trick or treating. The girls had a great time!! Aren't you proud of me, I stopped my other editing and got these done so I could actually post them *on* Halloween. :-)

I played with a little color pop on these, just for fun. They're a little more over the top than my usual color but hey ... it's Halloween!

These are especially for my brother ... enjoy your little nieces, Chad!!

A Little Bit of Fall for Kim

On Sunday I headed up to Green Mountain (hill!) for a photo shoot with Kim and her family. The foliage was beautiful, the weather was cool and crisp ... and fall had definitely arrived. And what a sweet family to spend a fall morning with!

Here's your sneak peek, Kim. Enjoy!

Two Pretty Girls and their Beautiful Mom

Tosha and her two girls were here for a quick two day visit yesterday, so we put together a photo shoot. Her two girls are so adorable and fun ... and so is their mom! :) I dragged them all around the yard and to several other little spots. They were such great sports and tons of fun to work with. And as a bonus, McKenzie is great at spotting where the light falls with the reflector. :)

Here's your sneak peek, Tosha. I hope you like what you see!

A Sweet Little Newborn

Yesterday I had my first newborn session with the sweetest little four-week old girl. Alli was wonderful to work with, and her parents were too! I really enjoyed this session.

Here's your sneak peek, Kristi & Tom ... and thank you so much for letting me photograph your beautiful little baby.

A Sneaky Peeky for Erin

Yesterday I did Erin's maternity session. I was so thrilled and excited that she asked me to photograph her and her family. She's such a beautiful pregnant gal, and sweet as can be.

I really enjoyed photographing you and your family, Erin! Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time. I should have your proofs ready in a couple of weeks. :) Enjoy your sneak peek.

By the way, Erin is a fellow photographer, so be sure to check out her gorgeous work on her blog.

A Sneak Peek for Sharon

This weekend I had the opportunity to photography little Ian. What a cute little guy he is, and every bit as sweet, too. And check out that gorgeous yard they have. Thanks for letting me photograph your sweetie.

Some More of My Favorite Model

When I can get Sarah in front of the camera when she's in a good mood ... she really has fun with it. In fact, if there is a reward (of the chocolate variety) involved she is more than happy to pose for me. She comes up with some wild and crazy poses, too. I usually have to take some the way she wants, then she cooperates better with the poses I want her to do!

I had a little fun with color here. :)

A Little Bit of Moodiness

As soon as I bought the bright, rainbow-colored umbrella, I knew I had to have a black one for some moody kinda shots. I love moody shots. The hardest part was getting Sarah to give me her moody looks ... she was just in too good of a mood today!! :) These were just crying out for black and white conversions, don'tcha think?
