Back to School

I can't believe its already that time ... BACK to SCHOOL!! This summer has just flown by. Yesterday was the big day ... Sarah is now officially a 1st grader. And its easy to tell she feels so much more grown up than last year. =) She was feeling a little anxious this year, worried about all of the changes. She met her teacher at the open house and liked her right away. All of the kids' desks had their name on them, so she was able to go around the room and see who she knew from last year, plus get to see and talk to a few of them.

We left for the bus stop a few minutes early, so that there would be time for me to take pictures. =) Even so, Sarah was all worried about missing the bus, so she wasn't very cooperative at all. Ah well, you get what you get, right?!

This wasn't the ideal spot, I know.

And one of little sister, seeing off her big sister. Anna goes to preschool two days a week this year, but her school doesn't start until next week. Anna has been in the throes of the Traumatic Threes lately. But she has so enjoyed getting some one-on-one Mommy-time these last two days. She's been in such a great mood. Hmmmm.
